Here's a sad story with a happy ending to ease back into work or school after the new year....

Hobo nursed back to health

German Shepherd Hobo was dropped off at an animal hospital in such bad shape that the staff couldn't tell what breed he was and gave him only 3 days to live. But Hobo rallied and is now living on a farm with an animal-loving family and many other critters. What a life! In a satisfying end note, his former owner has pleaded guilty of causing an animal to suffer unnecessarily and is being sentenced this month.
